JM Hair Creations is a team of hairdressers in Kingston offering an extensive range of services, matched by their creative flair and experience. We offer the traditional cut and blow-dry as well as a wide range of expert colouring services to suit any hair type.
We provide the following services:
HAIRCUT
As we are a family owned-salon, it is only proper that we provide services for the whole family. We offer haircuts for mums, dads and the kids. The salon is a one-stop shop for all your hair needs.
LADIES
Haircut options vary from the basic Cut and Blow-wave (haircut + blow dry), with the inclusion of shampoo or just the blow-wave itself. If you have a style that works for you, we can stick with that and just do a Restyle Cut. For special occasions, we can style an Updo or GHD Curls. If you are just after pampering your hair with tender, loving care, be fully-rested, as all our hair treatment comes with a relaxing hair massage that is sure to rejuvenate you and your locks!
MEN
For men, we offer Buzz Cut or Regular Cut. There is also an option of having a shampoo first before the cut. Again, if you have a hairstyle that works for you and would like to have the same, we can always do a Restyle Cut. Another service we offer is Beard Trim, for a neater and manageable look.
KIDS
Prices vary according to their age. We do haircuts for boys or girls from 0-12 years old!
COLOURING
Whatever your preference is, whether it's just a Regrowth Tint, Semi Permanent or Foils, we can do it for you. No job is too big or too small for JM's Hair Creations!
CHEMICAL SERVICES
Tired of the same old curly look? We can transform your look with Permanent Straightening or Keratin Smoothing Treatment for the versatility of smoother, healthier-looking hair that can be styled wavy or straight as desired.

Established as a mother–daughter vision, JM Hair Creations was built on shared values of creativity, professionalism, and genuine care for every client. As part of continued growth and long-term vision, Joanna (Jo) is currently away further developing her skills and experience, preparing herself for future leadership and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility within the business when the time is right.

Experienced hairdressers Melyn (Mel) Le Roy and her daughter Joanna have opened their salon in Kingston’s Andrew Arcade called “JM’s Hair Creations.”
Their business caters to both men and women. Mel has over 25 years experience as a hairstylist. She studied Hairdressing at the famous Ricky Reyes Hair Institute in Manila and owned her own salon prior to moving to Australia. She studied Western Hair at the CIT and worked with Denise O’Leary at Kingston’s Impressionists Salon in 2005. “Denise gave me a very comprehensive training in salon management and hairdressing.” states Mel.
JALYN
Jalyn is a senior stylist (Melyn’s sister)bringing international experience and salon ownership expertise to JM Hair Creations. Originally from the Philippines, she specialises in advanced hair straightening services, including nanoplasty, permanent rebonding, keratin, and smoothing deep treatments, with a strong focus on creating sleek, shiny, frizz-free, and healthy-looking hair. With hands-on experience managing her own salon, Jalyn also offers colour application, haircutting, and professional blow-dry styling, combining technical skill with a calm, detail-focused approach and genuine care for every client.
RYE
Ryline (Rye) brings over 20 years of international salon experience from Dubai to the JM Hair Creations team. She is a highly skilled hairdresser and stylist with strong expertise in blow-drying, hair styling, colouring, and haircutting, delivering polished, refined results tailored to each client. In addition to hair services, Ryline is also experienced in threading for eyebrow shaping and facial hair removal, offering clients precise, clean, and well-defined finishes. Her years of working in high-standard international salons have shaped her professional approach, attention to detail, and commitment to client satisfaction. Ryline adds valuable global knowledge and refined technique to JM Hair Creations, contributing the expertise and discipline gained from her long-standing career in Dubai.
